[IASC-Cryosphere] IASC Cryosphere Germany update

Dear Cryo Germany,

We hope you are all well.

We take the upcoming Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW 2026<https://assw.info/>) as an opportunity to reach out to you with the following information:


  *   The IASC Cryosphere Working Group (CWG)<https://iasc.info/our-work/working-groups/cryosphere> will have its annual meeting during ASSW on March 26th and the cross-cutting meeting with the other IASC working groups on March 25th. Do you have suggestions for topics, initiatives, or questions that you think should be brought up by us and discussed during these meetings? Then please let us know by March 20th.
  *   We, the German representatives of the CWG, are Gunnar Spreen (gunnar.spreen at uni-bremen.de<mailto:gunnar.spreen at uni-bremen.de>) and Anne Morgenstern (anne.morgenstern at awi.de<mailto:anne.morgenstern at awi.de>). We are always open to receive comments, suggestions, questions from you to support the Germany-based Cryo community via the IASC network in its relevant activities.
  *   Prior to the CWG Meeting, member countries are asked to provide national reports of ongoing activities relevant to the Cryosphere community. Please find attached our draft and send us any comments or suggestions for additional activities by March 20th.
