*Postdoc Position in Linked Data in Archives at the University of Porto
At INESC TEC we are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to
the development of the EPISA platform, in a joint project with the
Portuguese National Archives. The goal of the project is to bring linked
data technologies to the archival domain, linking entities and records to
improve access to archival records.

We are looking for a driven and experienced researcher with a Ph.D. in
Computer Science or related technical field. We expect a strong experience
in the development of solutions based on linked data technologies.

*Main tasks include*:
- Lead the implementation of the platform to support archival information
based on linked data technologies.
- Coordinate the platform's development team, through the co-supervision of
research grants.
- Coordinate and carry out validation studies on the platform.
- Lead the writing of scientific articles reporting on the work done.

An opportunity on a leading research institution in Portugal (
www.inesctec.pt), located at the beautiful city of Porto (visitporto.travel).
Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team working in partnership with the
Portuguese National Archives. Maintenance stipend: € 1646,00 /month,
according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants, paid
via bank transfer. The grant holder will also benefit from health insurance.

The contract if for 6 months, renewable for up to one year.
The start date is expected for June 2021.
