Dear all,
I am not able to install your software as I have a macbook rpo with the M2
chip (not intel). Therefore, these are my current conda channels available:
PackagesNotFoundError: The following packages are not available from
current channels:
- dftbplus
Current channels:
- https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/noarch
- https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/main/osx-arm64
- https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/main/noarch
- https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/r/osx-arm64
- https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/r/noarch
To search for alternate channels that may provide the conda package you're
looking for, navigate to
https://anaconda.org
and use the search bar at the top of the page.
In https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/dftbplus/files I cannot see
any osx-arm64 architecture, only osx-64. The osx-64 architecture is for
Intel-based Macs, while osx-arm64 is for the newer Apple Silicon Macs. This
mismatch is likely the reason why I am unable to install the package
directly using conda or mamba.
As a side note, I have checked that conda and mamba are updated and that I
have the correct order of channels in my ~/.condarc file:
channels:
- conda-forge
- defaults
I have also tried to install it with conda install -c conda-forge dftbplus
and I (obviously) get the same error
*What do I do?*
