Dear Balint

Many thanks for the info.
I thought that ADF is also using the same dftb+ binary....thanks for the clarification.

regards

Km

The code is currently intensively developed to cure the last bugs in it.
Our goal is to provide something to the community, which is stable and
well tested and do not require (too much) insider knowledge about DFTB+
in order to be used. I hope, we can release it soon.

Please be aware, that DFTB+ is developed in an academic community (in
contrast to the commercial ADF), so the manpower we can devote to it is
subject to fluctuations. (Donation of skilled manpower is always
welcome!) On the other hand, of course, you obtain it free of charge (in
contrast to the commercial ADF). We do not share any code with them, so
the fact, that it had been implemented in ADF does not really effects
its implementation within DFTB+. But, we try our best, to keep up with
any commercial DFTB implementation, so that you always can get the same
functionality free of charge for your research.

  Best regards,

  Bálint
