[DFTB-Plus-User] strange about DFTB

In fact DFTB is making me tired

the version 1 works on redhat 4,
right now I am trying to use of DFTB version 1.2 on Ubuntu version 11,  32
bit
I install everything
right now I am trying to just run the example and then i type


root at ubuntu:~/Desktop/DFTB# ./dftb+

bash: ./dftb+: cannot execute binary file


What should I do ? what do I need?

of course I click on allow executing files as program

I am waiting for your valuable help
