[DFTB-Plus-User] DFTB-Plus-User Digest, Vol 2, Issue 1

Dear Ben,

    Thanks for your information, I changed #INSTALLDIR = . to INSTALLDIR = /HOME02/xuser/imeyaodl/bin in Makefile.user. But I still got the same error, then I applied the same change in Makefile.objdir, then it worked.

Hello Donglai,

the file Makefile.user (which you made by copying Makefile.user.template)
in /HOME02/xuser/imeyaodl/dftb/dftb+_1.0.1_src/
contains the line

 #INSTALLDIR = .

which should be changed to 

 INSTALLDIR = /HOME02/xuser/imeyaodl/bin

or wherever you want to install the binary to. At the moment this is
unset so it tried to install over the top of itself.

Anybody could help me?
