Dear Aether users,

as announced last week we now activated the changes to the module
system on Aether.

* In order to use the new module tree, you don't need to do
  anything.

* If you still need to use the old module tree for some reason,
  you can

      module unuse /home/eb/modules/all
      module unuse /home/eb/modules/conda
      module unuse /home/eb/modules/LAMOS
      module use /home/eb/modules/_legacy/all

* In case you want to manage the module system yourself: The new
  module tree uses three directories:

  . /home/eb/modules/all    -> generic libraries, software, etc
  . /home/eb/modules/LAMOS  -> LAMOS-specific libraries: WRF,
  FLEXPART, TM4-ECPL, conda, ...
  . /home/eb/modules/conda  -> the various system-wide conda
  environments

Please make sure to check the updated Aether documentation.

Also, we used today's maintenance to update the JupyterHub
instance. As of today, only the new JupyterHub running at
https://aether.uni-bremen.de/jupyter is available.  Please make
sure to update your bookmarks and, again, check the updated Aether
documentation.

Please don't hesitate to contact us in case of any questions.

Sunny greetings,
  Andreas
